FIELD SALES REPRESENTATIVE - SOUTHERN UK
CLIENT: Family-run jewellery supplier, specialising in the distribution of diamond/coloured gemstone set pieces in platinum, 18ct & 9ct gold.
TERRITORY: Southern UK – accessible to the M25 (West)
SALARY: Industry standard salary + performance-related bonus + company car + additional benefits & expected trade support

Job Role:
Regionally accountable for an established network of independent retail jewellers, your mission is to grow supplier ordering reliance, ensuring that your clientele are fully supported with every fine jewellery sales enquiry.
Existing stockists will require well-planned, regular sales presentation calls, where you can ensure that their stock inventory is suited to achieve the best sales outcomes.
Importantly, introducing newness is a key expectation, whether through design style, price point, or by preparing your retail buyers to entrust you with that one-off specific special-order enquiry.‘Fine jewellery’ is a lead focus in-store right now, so consequently, there are new account opportunities across this region that will require eager prospecting, with a view to securing many more trade account openings.
Commercially, you will need to work smart, maximise your time in front of buyers, and be ever-conscious of managing costs, while simultaneously being personally and corporately responsible for meeting the best market requirements.
Requirements:
You will need to have an appreciation of the independent retail jewellery market throughout the South East, South Coast, South West, and East Anglia.
It is essential that you can demonstrate a proven track record of selling jewellery merchandise to high street retail jewellers.
You will enjoy communicating added value and be eager to promote your supplier ‘can-do’ attitude wherever a sales opportunity arises.
Self-motivated, once the employer's distribution strategy for your area is set, you will be able to prioritise and show results with increasing regularity.
Personality-wise, you will share our client's empathy for your retailers’ daily sales challenges.
Individually, you will be keen to provide solutions and will not hesitate to explore new product sales areas that, until your mention, may have been untapped—but not for long!
