Well, the weekend is nearly upon us, and we have our corporate fingers crossed that our new stand graphics will arrive on time…

The theme of our stand is Parking the Bus. We’ve just hot-footed it from the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London, where we were a nominated Finalist for a RAD Award for our Employer Website, the purpose of which is to attract candidates in the watch and jewellery trade. And now we’re driving our bus to Birmingham!

On 31st January, at the awards ceremony, Vodafone carried off the trophy we were hoping for, but the very fact that our website was shortlisted alongside such internationally renowned contenders was a magnificent achievement. This was also a RAD Awards first for our fantastic Marketing Agency, Accord.

What was most pleasing to us about our RADS achievement was the recognition and applause received for the UK Watch and Jewellery market as a whole. JML has always believed in the truly special nature of our market, the people who develop their careers within it, and the sector’s overall professionalism and standards. We see our presence on the shortlist as a victory not just for us but for our industry.

So, on to this weekend … roll on show day! On behalf of JML I wish all attendees a very productive event. I shall be on our stand with Jessica all day on Sunday 17th February and Monday 18th February 2019, and Oliver will join the team on Monday. Be sure to come and say hello!
