Established in 1973, Euro Pearls are Europe’s largest and foremost pearl company offering international award winning brands Yoko London, Takara Pearls the largest collection of loose cultured pearls in Europe. Additionally they offer for sale an extensive range of loose pearls and strands of Southsea, Tahitian, Akoya and Freshwater pearls. For over three generations now the Hakimian family have evolved to become the leaders of their trading speciality.
Job role:
With their Headquarters based within the heart of London’s Jewellery home, Hatton Garden - there is always (talent dependent) an opportunity for our client to invest in tomorrow’s trade best. As to specific job role on a day -to-day basis it would be really varied - it could be within purchasing, stock auditing, retail operations or sales and marketing here throughout the UK or indeed internationally. The client view is really to open out all departments within their business and once these new appointees are experienced as to the workings of this ‘pearl distribution master‘ then of course a further fine tuning of job role can then be allocated as you move your way forward to encounter greater and heavier levels of commercial accountability.
Requirements:
Ideally individuals should have recently graduated with a great degree - exemplary and an indicator of your high flying future development potential
Such is the nature of this worldwide business it is also advantageous to be fluent in at least one further language (Arabic amongst others)
Whilst within education it would be great to be able to see some alignment with retailing luxury products though it isn’t a necessity that Jewellery has already been encountered our client can induct on all
Individually you will need to relate well to higher ticket merchandise -not ever be phased by value and be thrilled by representing such a naturally beautiful product with a uniqueness not matched by any other jewellery precious item
Your personality like our clients merchandise needs to be rich - you will need to be a good presenter able to communicate with passion and pride - whilst never undervaluing the proposition that you should be very proud to in the future represent
A massively exciting market area, not for the feint-hearted. You may need to travel extensively - schedules may include participation of trade events / exhibitions that require weekends to be compromised for the greater collective good!
